Everything was well-maintained, personable staff, excellent views of the garden. The breakfast food including toast, bread and cereal was appetising. The pool was nice and I had complementary drinks in the outdoor bar. Besides, there was parking outside. This accommodation had a very central setting close in walking distance to everything.
Nothing at all.

Terrific location, close to the action but not in the thick of the noise and traffic.
We needed to reschedule our 7 night stay Fter only 1 night due to a family emergency and the staff were so understanding. There was no mention of forfeiting the booking, they were more than happy to let us choose other dates and return when it suited us. Very much appreciated!
No negatives!

The location was quite good, not near the beach but it was close to shops.
We were so dissapointed with the Lord Byron Resort. After seeing the images on Booked.net and the write up about the rooms we made our choice to stay there. On arrival we were put in the "Lord Byron Appartments" next door. They are nothing like the photos of the rooms advertised on Booked.net and by the looks of things havent even recieived a lick of paint since the 80'S. The kitchen stunk, it was terrible. The bed linnen - blankets which were thin and looked like they had come from the salvos bin. The bathroom light didnt work. It was noisy. It was like staying in a housing commission appartment. On check out the lady at reception sympathised, she'd heard it before and had passed on the previous complaints to the owners of the appartments to no avail. She said it wasnt a reflection of "Lord Byron Resort" as these appartmetns are seperately owned by individual owners. I dont agree, I booked and paid to stay the they Lord Byron Resort and the Lord Byron Resort shifted me over to the Appartments... Beware!! Make sure on your booking you specify - "do not put me in the appartments - resort only"
